Pelvic Pain
Chronic pelvic pain covers a range of conditions where pain in the pelvis, perineum, genitals, or lower abdomen has persisted beyond the normal healing period and has often resisted diagnosis by single-organ specialists. These are conditions where a pain specialist — someone who considers the pelvis as a whole and understands the nerves, muscles, and referred patterns involved — often finds the source that other evaluations have missed.
Newport Pain Management provides evaluation and treatment for the following pelvic pain conditions:
- Chronic Testicular Pain (Orchialgia) — Persistent testicular pain, often with a referred source or a post-vasectomy origin
- Pudendal Neuralgia — Nerve pain in the perineum, worse with sitting, often connected to tailbone trauma or pelvic floor muscle spasm
Additional pelvic pain conditions are addressed by evaluation on request. To discuss whether pain specialist evaluation is appropriate for your situation, call (949) 759-8400 or visit the contact page.
